He has over 20 years of professional consulting experience, the majority of which have been dedicated to R&D tax credits in the U.S. and abroad. His expertise also encompasses addressing other complex business and tax needs such as ASC 740, cost segregation and other specialty tax services. Allen Tobin | Tax Principal

As Principal in FD’s Tax Practice, Allen specializes in Credits & Incentives, including R&D tax credits. With 25 years of experience, Allen has deep expertise in federal and state payroll/employment tax, tax information reporting, tax practice & procedure and tax controversy. He serves various industries, including manufacturing, higher education, technology, food & beverage, agriculture and O&G. In addition, Allen works closely with university clients.
