As the firm continues to grow in response to increasing demand for its services, these new team members will enhance the firm’s capabilities and drive further success across multiple sectors.

Joonas Degerman has joined as an Audit Principal in the Nashville office. Degerman has built a reputation for refining audit quality and processes while navigating complex regulatory frameworks for clients across a variety of industries. His areas of expertise include SOX compliance, SEC reporting, accounting advisory and internal control transformation. Degerman has worked closely with companies through post-IPO SOX compliance, and his leadership will be instrumental in advancing FD’s audit services in Tennessee.

As the new Business Development Manager, Shaun Johnson brings over a decade of experience in sales and key account management across multiple industries, including consumer packaged goods, technology, accounting and finance. Johnson’s results-driven approach and expertise in cultivating strategic partnerships will support FD’s growth initiatives in the Nashville market and beyond.

Shlynn McKinney has also joined the Nashville team as Operations Manager, transitioning from FD’s Las Vegas office, where she has been with the firm since 2019. McKinney brings a wealth of expertise in operations, client service and coaching, along with a proven ability to enhance office culture, improve the employee experience and coordinate initiatives. Her focus will be on executing the firmwide strategic plan and supporting the office’s continued growth.
